Week 13!

So today is the last day of week 12, and tomorrow we are in week 13 already! I am already just one week away from the second trimester! It is so crazy. Sometimes I feel nervous or anxious because nothing is really happening.. I can't feel anything, my belly is just slowly getting bigger.

Believe it or not, my baby’s body has doubled in length since week 7 and is as big as a large peach! Last week it was just a little plum!

From the top of it's head to the bottom of it's little bum, it's about 65 to 78 mm (2.6 to 3.1 in) long and weighs about 13 to 20 g (0.5 to 0.7 oz).

 My baby's head is still about half the length of it's little body, but its growth will begin to slow down as the rest of it's body begins to grow.

If I could see my baby now I would be able to determine whether it is a boy or a girl! Still about 4-5 weeks until that ultrasound!

There are still 190 days until my due date! Still have a long way to go, and that is just fine with me. I want to enjoy every minute of this pregnancy.
